BQ25895: what is the meaning of battery load in BQ25895?

Hi there,

Our customer had question about how to understand the register to enable/disable battery load and BAT_LOADEN from our datasheet duo to it had no detail description about it.

And I check the datasheet ,Could it be described as to enable  Battery discharge load curren?

    Eason,

    Battery load can be used with host software to determine if a battery is present.  For example, if you pull current from BAT for a known period and it discharges the small capacitor at BAT below the expected value (I=c*dv/dt) then no battery is attached.
