Hi Team,
My customer is looking at using the BQ25895 with a solar panel input that will be typically 12V/1.25A. However, the input can go up to as high as 14.4V/0.2A for a duration of about 2s every 10 minutes or so worst-case. The max recommended for the device is 14V. However, given that the abs max is 22V, would you expect any long-term reliability issues with this application? The alternative would be to add a clamping eFuse such as TPS2595 but they wouldn't want to do it unless there's no other option.
