Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS61022, TPS61021A
The minimum switch peak current limit in the specification is 0.8A
The maximum load required for the backend may be at 800mA
Can you use it, what is the difference between the two?

Dear User:
The current limit is specification is about the peak current of the inductance, not the same as Iout. As: Ipeak=Iin+ΔI; Iin=Vout*Io/Vin/efficiency.
What's the input/output voltage and load current of your application? Please let me know if you need further help~
The input voltage range is about 2.0-3.1V, the output is 3.3V, and the back end load is up to 800mA.
I hope that there is a better efficiency when it is lightly loaded (50uA);
can use it?
Hi User:
TPS61099 is hard to supply 3.3V/800mA from 2.0V.
I'll recommend TPS61021, TPS61022 for you. And the efficiency is well for PFM in light load.
The input voltage range is about 2.0-3.1V, the output is 3.3V, and the back end load is up to 800mA.
Light load (50uA) also has a suitable efficiency;
The quiescent current should be as small as possible within 3uA.
Hi User:
I wonder you may need to balance the quiescent current and load capability.
The TPS61099 has low to 1uA Iq typ. But the current capability is not enough for 800mA load from 2V to 3.3V.
The TPS61021A has such current capability with 17uA typical Iq.
