LM1086: Thermal- output section and control section junction temperature

Hi Team,

My customer is using LM1086 and in device datasheet section 6.3 "Recommended Operation Condition" junction temp range is given for output section and control section”, out of this which needs to be considered for calculation. What is output section and control section?

Please refer to section 10.3 Thermal Considerations from the datasheet. This section walks through how calculations should be done for LM1086.
