Hi TI,

I have a questions regarding BQ25606.

I'd like to know status of Q4 when /CE is disable and VBUS is not connected(0V).

Is the system voltage output from the battery?

Hi Mason,

Yes, you are correct. In battery-only mode, the BATFET turns on in order to allow the battery to power the system. Please see Section 8.3.1 in the datasheet for more details.

You mean when Chip enable is disabled, right?

Hi Mason,

With no adapter connected and VBAT above the depletion threshold, the BATFET will turn on and allow the battery to power the system regardless of whether /CE (the charge enable pin) is high or low.
