Hello,

My project needs to drive a medium power ultrasonic piezoelectric transducer. The driver designs I have seen for these transducers typically use switching i.e. square waves to drive them, MOSFET driven, with Vpp 100v-200v in some cases!

Question: What are my simplest options for driving these transducers.

* Resonant frequency: 28 KHz

* Input power: 20W

* Datasheet: I wish I could find one! :(

Please refer to the datasheet of PGA460-Q1 device.

Note we typically recommend using any transducer > 30Khz for use in ultrasonic applications.

We recommend the device to used based on the application that our customer is looking for.

Hi Bharat,

First of all, thanks for the help.

I've reviewed the PGA460-Q1. Datasheet only have examples for distans meter. I hope I can desing it for myself. You know I want to create vibration for 28Khz.

Sorry about this late reply, however please note that we at this time do not have devices that can support a vibration frequency of less that 30Khz.
