TPS22953: Mux between medium power DC line and low current DC test line

Hello Everybody,

I need to switch 2 DC line to one load, one DC line will pulse DC current around 7V / 6A, and the second a small test current around 1V / 10mA (look attachment).

My first idea was to use a load switch with reverse blocking like the TPS22953, but my line voltage is above 6V, and the load switch cannot support more than 6V on the output, so I expect that the TPS may be damaged by the main line voltage on his output. In fact, most of the TI load switch seem to work around 5V, so it's mean that I cannot use a load switch in this case ?

    Thanks for reaching out on E2E!

    If the DC line experiences a 7V / 6A pulse, then you are correct. The TPS22953 wouldn't work in this scenario, but an eFuse might work instead. Would a device such as the TPS25940 work here instead?
