Dear all,

Our Customers would like to know the specifications of this device.

Please let me know if the following is possible.

  1. The full charge is 17.4V, but can I set the termination voltage to 17.4V?
  2. Is it possible to fast charge 1.5A?
  3. Is it possible to use with a termination current of 58mA to 60mA?
  4. The breakdown voltage of the input voltage is considered to be 30V. In this device, is it possible to set the OVP to move when the input voltage exceeds 30V?

    Hi,

    1) Yes, you can set the max charge voltage to 17.4 V through the Maximum Charge Voltage register, which has a range of 1.024 - 19.2 V.

    2) Yes, you can set the fast charge current to 1.5 A through the Charge Current register, which has a range of 0.128 - 8.128 A.

    3) The BQ24773 does not have a built-in termination feature, so the host will need to control this by stopping charge when desired. Otherwise, the charge current will continue to taper down to zero in CV mode.

    4) 30 V is the absolute maximum safety rating, so you should not apply such a high voltage to the device. The recommended operating condition is an input voltage below 24 V.
