BQ24610: BQ24610 does not charge

Hi TI team:

We now design BQ24610 to charge four batteries. When debugging, we found that boards has normal output voltage, but can not charge. and the state pins, POWERGOOD and Vref voltage are normal. Replacement of IC and peripheral MOS is ineffective, and the test peripheral resistance is normal，please help.

Hi Chunqiv,

Are STATx pins reporting the charger is charging? What is the voltage at SRN? Are there switching pulses on the PH node? V(TS) is approx 1/2 of VREF? ACDRV is low? CE pin is high?

BTW, on the schematic, D11 being a BAT54 is likely not big enough.

Hi Chunqiv,

Output capacitance on BAT is too high. For BQ24610 it is recommended to keep LC output resonance frequency between 12-17kHz (section 9.3.10 Converter Operation of datasheet).
