Is it possible to drive the LMZM33604 in parallel?
The clock is supplied externally.

    Hi Kobayashi-san,

    The short answer would be no. I would recommend using the LMZ31710 which allows the part to be stacked and used in a proper parallel operation.

    I've attached an analog design journal that goes over why simply connecting the outputs together will not allows for proper parallel operation. If you just connect the outputs together, there may be issues with interleaving the switching frequency to allow for the appropriate phase shift. This may result in the application not equally sharing the load current and may impact the performance and stability of each device.

    Because of this I would recommend using power modules that have are designed with parallel applications in mind.
