Hi, Team.

I'm going through LMR23615-Q1 datasheet, and don't realize how to calculate IOL, IOH of equation 16, 17 on the page 20.

Here, an example calculation is shown, but values of IOL, IOH are not shown.

Could you please tell me how to calculate IOL, IOH?

Hi Shin,

Those current parameters are specified by the user depending on the load transient requirement, e.g. a 0.5A to `A load step gives IOH = `.5A and IOL = 0.5A.

I tried to calculate on the equation, Cout got a pretty large value.

Hi Shin,

My understanding is that the expression above the line should be multiplied by L. This is effectively an energy storage equation where the change in inductive energy is all transferred to the output capacitor, hence the output voltage increase during a load-off transient.
