Hi Team,

Customer is looking 100Watt power switch on type c power provider application.

Here are customer requirement.

Can meet PD 100W.
Have OVP/OCP/UVP function.
MUST have CB/UL certificate.

Would you please recommend the proper solution for this?

Hi Scott,

You can use TPS65987D. We do not have a standalone 100W source power path currently.

for 100Watt (20V/5A), only TPS25982 is fit for this application. right?

Do TPS25982 pass UL/CB ? the d/s is still pending.

Hi Scott,

Correct. TPS2594x cannot support 20V. So, TPS25982 is the only fit.

We are about to submit TPS25982 samples to UL for evaluation. It may take 3-4 months to get certification.
