Integrated Switch vs external Switch for Hotswap controller

Hi There!

I need to select the Hot swap controller to protect my circuit during hot plugging.

I am unable to make decision to proceed with Integrated Switch controller or External Switch controller.

These are following requirements for my design.

Could anyone help me to select the part based on above requirements?

Could you help provide all of your system requirements? What specific hot swap protection features do you need on your system?

Hi Ivan,

I have board which mates and un-mates to/from the power board. Power which enters to custom board is 3.3V and current requirement of the

board is 500mA. I want to protect my circuit through following patameters.

TPS25942 or TPS25944 family of devices would meet your specifications. Please have look at them and let us your feedback on this.
