TPS563208: Higher Vout Condition

Hi, Team,

We have questions for TPS563208. There is Vout > Vin condition on the customer board. Please refer the below blocks.

1. Is it ok to use TPS563208 in this condition?

2. Should they use discharge register? Or should they use a bypass diode?

    Hi Yone-san,

    If configurationg at Vout>Vin condition and device is still switching, device may have risk to operate at boost condiiton and increase the input voltage to very high, depening on what's the detail customer configure the system.

    Discharge resistor or bypass diode at the output side could help. And it will be helpful to send us the customer's schematic for double confirm. You can send to wuyang-zhang@ti.com
