Hi team
I will be applied the LM74610 as battery reverse connection prevention circuit at the power input.
The load is a DC motor.
Does the LM74610 also block the current generated by the motor's back electromotive force?

Hello Charles Jeon,
Yes, LM74610 blocks the Back EMF current, as it senses the anode to cathode voltage and if it exceeds -20mV, it turns off the MOSFET.

Kari.
Hi Kari.
If voltage level of the anode to cathode is same, is possible to block the Back EMF?
Hi
Reverse current is blocked when the Cathode voltage exceeds anode voltage by 20mV.
Internal reverse sense comparator monitors anode to cathode voltage and once cathode voltage exceeds anode by 20mV, it turns of the external MOSFET and body diode of the external MOSFET blocks reverse current.
Regards,
Kari.
