TPS259827ONREGET dos not power up with load

FYI the part I am writing about was not recognized in the above Part number search:

I am planning to use several “TPS259827ONREGET” for the engineering run I have purchased and using the TPS259827LEVM eval board

The main issue right now is : When the load is applied before powering up the output does not come up but if no load is applied on power up and the load is applied after no problem I played with the different jumpers that might affect this issue: Output Slew rate control, current monitoring , programmable fault monitor and current limit.

System configuration: Input voltage is 10-19.5V, max current 6A load.

The part number should be TPS259827ONRGET

There is a limit on the max startup load due to excessive power dissipation during startup phase, which is applicable for all the devices. What is your downstream load ? we suggest to enable the downstream load using PG signal of the device.

Hi Rakesh,

We do not have control over the load PG the load is external to a max 6A. What can I configure the design to except that load on start UP.

Current limit to 15A startup Dv/Dt cap??? I have no design calculator just the Eval board same design , do you have Tina simulator for this device?? I couldn't find one??

Can you use the Pspice model for the Tina simulator ? how do you attach the calculator to the email?

Hi Dominick,

We don't have TINA model for this device. Please use Pspice simulator to use Pspice models.

Please instantiate this in your test bench and configure your application schematic to simulate.
