BQMTESTER: HPA169+EV2400 +Bq40z

Part Number: BQMTESTER
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: EV2400

Hi,

In the current documentation that I have found for the Bq tester "User's Guide SLUU238B–February 2006–Revised October 2013 bqMTester User's Guide" it is not clearly specified and it always refer to the EV2300.

Is possible to use the combination of HPA169+EV2400 for the calibration modules based on gas gauge Bq40zxx?

I see that officially this tool is designed for Calibrates coulomb counter offset, voltage, temperature, and current but there is no calibration data available and you suggest to verify the value with a calibrated instruments. I can think at the test set-up for voltage, temperature and current but for all the other calculations as the coulomb counter mentioned in the user's guide how it can be verified?

  • Yes, you can use the ev2400. The bqmtester is only for external verification of voltage, current, and temperature. The internal values are calculated by the gauge and programmed to reflect the inputs to the gauge. You don't need to verify them.
