Dear Team,

Base on the below thread.

Can I said I will need TPS23756 to implement 12V adapter and PD smooth transfer without Vout drop?

The customer is looking for two port PD and one adapter reference design.

They need to achieve no Vout drop between 2 PD and 1 adapter plug in and plug out.

Do you have suitable reference design?

Or you have TPS23754 with 12V adapter smooth transfer without Vout drop which we can expand to 2 PD and 1 adapter application?

    Hi Kevin, 

    Thank you for your question. For dual PoE PD input and AC/DC adapter input, I recommend PMP20859. This is a 5V/6A synchronous flyback but you could replace this with a 12V DC-DC design if wanting a 12V output by looking at TI Designs on TI.com.  

    For smooth transition on the secondary with a 12V adapter, you can pair this design with a PMUX like the TPS2120.
