Hi:

The product I designed USES TPS54308,There are several questions to consult,Thank you.

1. The input is set to 9V. What is the ultimate withstand voltage of SW?

2.When closed, if there is a reverse voltage at the output end, will IC be damaged if it exceeds -0.3v?

    1. The input is set to 9V. What is the ultimate withstand voltage of SW?

    The max input voltage of TPS54308 is 28V, it is safe for the 9V application.

     

    2.When closed, if there is a reverse voltage at the output end, will IC be damaged if it exceeds -0.3v?

    Where does the reverse voltage comes from? If there is a reverse voltage at the output, the low-side body diode would turn on. If the reverse voltage is too large, and it lasts for a long time, the diode may be damage.
