TL720M05-Q1: Thermal Protection behavior

Hi Team,

I'm interested in TL720M05-Q1 for external sensor power supply.

According to the datasheet, this device has over temp protection feature but there is no description of the feature.

Could you tell me its threshold temp and turn off time from the OT detection?

I want to make sure that TL720M05-Q1 can not get damaged at output short condition.

    Hi Onawa-san,

    This device has a typical thermal shutdown temperature of 160C and will turn back on at approximately 150C. As for the response time of the thermal shutdown circuit, it takes approximately 10us for the device to react once the temperature has passed the threshold.
