Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO
Hello,
New to TI's line of battery management solutions but suppose that I am looking for a production solution centered on the BQ27z561 for an embedded system. So far I understand that the best practice is that a "golden image" file should be generated for the batch of Li NMC batteries using bqstudio which then needs to be programmed onto the chips using for instance my host processor.
1), Are there common practices other than using my host processor?
2), I also see that bqstudio already has a Chem ID for the model of battery I intend to use, would this be sufficient to have a somewhat working gauge?
3), Are there options from TI to obtain large quantities of the chip pre-configured to my battery chemistry (US18650VTC6, 2141 in bqstudio) or to a provided image file?
Thanks
