Hello, I am planning to use BQ27520-G4 in an application. If my understanding is correct, we need to perform the following steps to use BQ27520-G4 in an application.

Perform Battery Cycle to obtain chemical ID. Ref: http://www.tij.co.jp/jp/lit/an/slva725a/slva725a.pdf
Perform Learning Cycle to obtain Golden Data Flash Image. Ref: http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slua903/slua903.pdf
Flashing Golden Data FIash Image into the IC. Ref: http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slua449f/slua449f.pdf

I am unable to understand the procedure to flash the Golden DFI into the IC. Please answer the following regarding the same.

Am I suppose to flash the Golden DFI image into BQ27520-G4?
What is the hardware setup required to flash the Golden DFI?

Yes your processes is correct.

Yes, you are to flash the goldenfile ( dffs or bqfs or srec) on the device. You extract this golden file ( dffs or bqffs or srec) using studio. You program the obtained flash stream files using your host. See app note below:

Customers have to write their own code to program the device from their host. bqEVSW from your computer can be used to write the dfi to the device.
