BQ25898D: BQ25898D How to config the value of Isys（current of powerpath）

Hi,Team，

             my product  has a scenario  there‘’s  no battery，and  we will  supply a 5V  to  VBUS ，we  hope that BQ25898D  can  buck the  5V to vsys  which can  supply the system load.

but when we did this，the Vsys had a drop to nearly 0V，the maximum  current  was  1.3A，so  I wonder if  there is a  way  to config the value of   Isys，beacause i found the maximum current of powerpath is 4A.

    Hi Benjamine,

    The charger has configurable input current limit that limits the output current.  What is the value of the input current limit register?  If D+/D- pins are connected to a DCP adapter or shorted, the input current limit register will be at its maximum.   What is the input current limit clamp set by the ILIM pin resistor?  The actual input current limit is the lower the value in the register, or ILIM pin resistor, or the value determined by ICO if ICO is enabled.
