TPS2546: How to set the circuit when 2A with 1 load and 1A with 2.

Part Number: TPS2546

My products has two USB-A ports. When one phone or other products is connnected, we want to charge with 2A. When 2 are connected, 1A wanted.

There is no MCU. Can we set it with 2 TPS2546 and HW?

Hello,

Yes you can implement a design like this. You will need to somehow use the STATUS pin from each TPS2546 to either control the current limiting resistor, or connected to the CTL pins where it will change the charging mode it is currently in.
