TPS62745: EN_VIN_SW tied high - VIN_SW no connect question

Hello,

I made a mistake in my schematic and connected the EN_VIN_SW pin to the output voltage of the supply instead of ground. The datasheet says this connects the input voltage to pin6 (VIN_SW) which is usually used for an ADC to monitor the input voltage. Will this cause an issue? I have EN_VIN_SW tied to the supply output (3.3V) and VIN_SW pin disconnected. Schematic attached

Hello Robbie,

As you can read in topic 8.3.5 in the datasheet, the switch at VIN is here to help user monitor the state of health of the input if connected to an ADC. This switch prevents unnecessary current to flow in an external voltage divider. That's why we recommend to tie EN_VIN_SW to ground if VIN_SW is not used.

It then means if this switch is open but nothing is connected to it then theoretically no current should flow.

I don't see a major issue here.
