I am needing this switch to run in a fully epoxy potted, under-hood automotive environment running on both 12 and 24 volt systems regulated at 2 amps output.
Is there any reason this switch is not suitable?

Hello,
For 24V automotive systems they sometimes need to survive load dump up to 60V. This part can only pass load dump up to 40V.
Hello,
The device is rated for automotive grade 1 which is -40C to 125C ambient temperature and has a junction temperature thermal shutdown at 175C.
Also as long as the epoxy does not short out the pins it should work as intended.
