Hi Red,

I was not able to locate a UCC28061 design calculator so I modified the UCC28063 calculator for use with UCC28061. Please let me know if this will suffice.

Hi Ben,

thanks for your reply, the spreadsheet is NOT enough for my customer to convince his end customer from Japan,

however, they still need

the loss of each key components like PFC Choke loss & diode loss & mosfet loss,

may i have mathcad file

For calculation explanation, please refer your customer to slide 14 of this powerpoint:https://training.ti.com/sites/default/files/docs/choosing_the_right_pfc_topology.pdf

DC loss in the inductor can be easily calculated based on the DC resistance and rms current of the inductor but AC core losses will be very dependent on the geometry. AC indcutor loss are not included in the excel calculation. I am not able to generate Mathcad files at this time unfortunately.Please let me know if this excel calculation tool is sufficient.
