TPS40305: Is there any risk in running the TPS40305 without a load?

Part Number: TPS40305

I am adapting an existing TPS40305 design to use the controller to supply a current to a load. The load needs a 5A current driven through it during state one but it needs up to 20A driven through it during state 2. The requirement of dI/dt is such that I can't ramp the current from a single controller from 5A to 20A so I have designed a current switching system that runs 5A through one TPS40305 for state one and 20 A during state two to meet the dI/dt specification.

The system works but I just realized that when the 20A TPS40305 circuit is running, the 5A TPS40305 circuit is running without a load, i.e. open circuit. Will this be a problem for the TPS40305?

In table 1 of the example design, the load regulation design requirement is from 0A, does this mean that the device can run open circuit?
