Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ28Z610
Hi TI experts,
Would you suggest CBR setting to 1 for BQ40Z50-R1 and BQ28Z610? I find the default value is 0 and it's mean disable. Is there anything I need to pay attention to?

Hi Che yi,
We prefer leaving the cell balancing at rest disabled. This is because if you have leakage and your battery drains from VC1 to GND, all cells will start balancing and losing capacity. However, for verified designs with low leakage that have been tested, it can be enabled.
