TPS74401: TPS74401RGWT Schematic Review

Hello Ananthesh:

 After reviewing your schematic and datasheet design recommendation, I think the schematic #2 is the best.  The datasheet section 9 states The TPS74401 is designed to operate from an input voltage between 1.1 V to 5.5 V, provided the bias rail is at least 1.62 V higher than the input supply. The bias rail and the input supply must both provide adequate headroom and current for the device to operate normally. 

This part is for industrial grade application. Texas Instruments TPS74401-Q1 is automotive grade. For higher accuracy and simplified design, TPS7A84A has 1.8V any-out voltage setting pins, no Vbias required. But it is not pin-to-pin solution with TPS74401.
