Hi,
I was doing experiment with PMLK boost converter. (output voltage always has to be 24V)
The experiment was about measuring the efficiency of boost converter by changing switch frequency, input voltage and output load current.
I got a pretty good result when frequency was 500kHz and when frequency was 250kHz, input voltage was 20V.
However, when test condition was f = 250kHz, input votlage = 10V, regardless of output current, output voltage went to below 10V and I could hear weird sound from the circuit.
Power supplier's input current limit was 5A. Thus, I do not think it was because of input current limit.
I wonder why this happened.
Thanks,
Best regards,
Yunsik
