Hello Kevin,
I encourage you to use WEBENCH POWER DESIGNER for your power supply: https://webench.ti.com/power-designer/switching-regulator .
From the parameters you specified, WEBENCH generated 31 different isolated designs for the 54VOUT/1A supply. Based on what are most important criteria for this design, you can then sort the choices, compare topologies and parameters, selecting the design that best meets your needs. For example, if pcb space is a concern, you can sort the designs by Smallest Footprint.
If, after this process, you have additional questions, you can post a new E2E thread based on the device and topology you have selected.
And if everything is clear and you find the design best suited for your product, please Reply here and let us know by clicked "Resolved".
Regards,
~Leonard
Hi Team,
From the parameters request specified, WEBENCH generated 31 different isolated designs for the 54VOUT/1A supply.
But they're all topology flyback. we need is the "Forward" topology.
Is there have a recommendation?
thanks
Kevin
Hi Kevin,
There are power Reference Design available: http://www.ti.com/power-management/reference-designs.html#search .
Selecting the Forward Topology, then sorting the resultant list by VOUT, PMP7840 is the closest to your requirements: PMP7840 -
I will see if the group that designed this Ref Design might have some recommendations for modifying to meet your requirements.

Hi Kevin,
Nearly all our reference designs at this power level are flyback. We do have a range of reference design for active clamp forward using UCC2897a,
But there is not an exact match to your requirement.
