LM74610-Q1: About Typical Application Schmatic

Part Number: LM74610-Q1

Hi team

The "Cathode to Anode" maximum voltage is indicated on the data sheet.

I understand that this voltage is important.

However, the maximum value for the Anode to Cathode voltage is not shown.

What is the maximum Anode to Cathode voltage value?

Are the components marked in red in the application circuit below absolutely necessary?

Can you recommend Cout and TVS diodes if necessary?

  • Hi Charles,

For LM74610-Q1 Anode to cathode voltage is not expected go way beyond one diode drop, but the maximum limit is 3V and it is specified as minimum value of cathode to anode -3V in datasheet page 6, section 6.1

Maximum anode to cathode is 3V.

TVS recommendation for automotive application is discussed in detail in section 8.2.4 page 16.

Are looking for an automotive application?

    Regards,

    Kari.
