What is happen the problems if the VCAP value is set too low to speed up the switching?

Hi Charles,
If VCAP is too low compared to Gate capacitance of external MOSFET, the MOSFET may not even turn on.

Kari.
Hi Charles,
Charge stored in VCAP is used to turn on the external MOSFET by charging its gate-source voltage beyond Vth of the MOSFET.
If the VCAP capacitance is not big enough to charge the external MOSFET, MOSFET will not turn on.
We recommend to have alteast VCAP > 10 times Gate capacitance of MOSFET.
Regards,
Kari.
