The TPS26600 is being used as an eFuse for a new subsystem being added to an existing system operating from 24V (bank of lead acid batteries). There is a scenario where another part of the existing system has a pulsing load that causes voltage ripple on the input to the TPS26600 and trips the FLT repeatedly from the reverse current blocking circuit.
Problem can be eliminated by filtering the input to reduce the ripple. However, customer may not be able to make any changes and just ignore this fault.
Is there any concern about reliability/lifetime of the device under nearly constant cases of going in and out of reverse blocking mode? See scope plots below of the timing of the event. There are three plots, each zoomed in more than the previous.
