Hi

 

I have been trying to activate the permanent failure protection for BQ40Z50R3 (activating the fuse pin). I set overvoltage threshold level as 3.950V, but I have observed that fuse pin remains 0V even though cell voltage reaches more than 3.950V. If the settings are correct and BQ40Z50R3 detect PF for OVP,  I am expecting the fuse pin goes around 7V, but the voltage on the pin is zero. I set the recoverable OVP as 4.5V in order to test permanent failure.
