BQ27750: VOL of SDA/SCL are higher than 0.4V.

Hello guys,

One of my customers is evaluating BQ27750.

In there evaluation, they found that VOL of BQ27750 SDA/SCL terminals are higher than 0.4V, the maimum voltage of the parameter. The VOL was about 0.9V. They checked the voltage at some BQ27750s. But the VOLs are almost same. Those are about 0.9V.

Is there any possiblity which happens the phenomenon?

Hi Kazuya

Is this on the EVM or the customer's board? What pull up values are being used? Can they capture the voltage levels on a scope both on an EVM and on their board for comparison purposes?

Thank you very much for your reply.

This phenomenon is observed on the customer's board. They use 1.1kohm as the pull-up resistor to 3.3V.

'm afraid that I can't show any waveform here because they don't want to show it.

But they just want ask TI the following question.

Q. If BQ27750 is not damaged, is VOL of SDA/SCL less than 0.4V at IOL=3mA and all temperature range and all lot?

The specs in the data sheet are all I can go off at this time. The bq27750 is not damaged.
