BQ77915: bq77815

Part Number: BQ77915

G'day

I am designing a 24 V  lifepo4 cell stack BMS (180AHr)

Can you please tell me howone selects the over-voltage for one of the bq779** series bms chips?

I note that on the BQ77915 device a range of Overvoltage: 3 V to 4.575 V – Undervoltage: 1.2 V to 3 V is stated but have been unable to establish how the required voltage is selected. E.g. OV 3.65V UV 2.5V for a lifepo4 cell stack.

  • Adrian,

The required voltages are specific to your application. When we have a request for a certain configuration, we will create a part to meet those needs if there is high enough volume. If you are interested in a new configuration, please contact your regional sales representative.

We do have a version coming soon that is suitable for LiFePO4 cells. Once this configuration is completed, it will be listed on the device comparison table on the datasheet.
