We have a question about TPS3813.

In datasheet p.12  8.5.5 Power-Up Considerations, you said

If a GPIO pin is used to drive the WDI input pin of the TPS3813xxx, then a pulldown resistor (shown as R2 in Figure 8) must be added to keep the WDI pin from floating during power up.

Can we use pullup resistor instead of pulldown resistor?

    If GPIO is at VDD potential by default and giving VDD-0-VDD pulse at WDI pin, then you can connect WDI pin to pull-up. But if GPIO pin is at 0V by default and it is generating 0-VDD-0 pulse then you should connect WDI pin to pull down resistor. Otherwise there will be a current from supply to GPIO which will increase power consumption.
