TPS51206: Recommended Junction Temperature

Hi,

In this part the Absolute Maximum operating temperature is given as -55 to 150degC

In Recommended Operating condition, it is given as -40 to 85degC.

We are seeing a huge gap between the recommended and abs max.

Also, there is no Recommended Junction Temperature value given.  

We need to know the recommended Junction Temperature value for an effective thermal understanding.

    Hi Felix, 

    Absolute maximum spec is the condition the part will not be damaged. 

    The recommended condition is the condition that the part can work correctly (meet all specs). 

    The recommended junction temp is -40c to 105c.
