Hi Team,
My Customer applied for a sample for LP5907A33YKMR and received the chip with marking H5 (picture below), but on our datasheet, it shows that the part marking should be N. Can you advise if information about this? Is it valid? And He also wanted to know how to check the PIN 1 since there is no marking on the chip.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
-Renan
Hi Min,
Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I proposed this answer to my customer but he is still having a hard time locating this using the picture above.
Can you help me on locating PIN1 this using the image?
Appreciated your help.
Regards,
-Renan
Hi Renan,
For some of the package, some of the pin 1 marking may be at the bottom of the device. I would suggest to ask your customer check on the back of the chip as well.
Regards,
Jason
Renan,
The topside marking for LP5907 is a 1 digit marking (N) along with a 1 character date code marking. There are a few places you can look this up including the Package addendum on the datasheet (page 21 in this case) and the part marking lookup tool (see link below).
Looking at the symbol in the image, I do not recognize the pin1 marking type. Let's connect via e-mail to further address these questions and concerns from the customer.
Iaisan,
The pin1 marking (ie pin A1) is the solid dot located in the bottom left on the unit in the image provided. This would mean A1=bottom left, A2=bottom right, B1=top left, B2=top right
