WEBENCH® Tools/LM5122-Q1: Hi, I have a question about boost converter webench simulation.

Hi,

I used lm5122-Q1 for webench boost converter simulation.

I got a pretty good result about inductor current.

However, In switching voltage graph above, i got the peak voltage.

I wonder why there is peak voltage from 24V to 25V.

Did it happen because the circuit is not stable?

Hi Yunsik,

The peak voltage is going from 25V to 24V since that is the conduction from the body diode when the high-side FET first turns on. Afterwards, when the high-side FET is turning off, the rise will happen again.
