Hi TI Team:

The product I designed USES TI BQ25700A. There are several problems in use, please help to solve them:

1.I would like to know how to charge the battery after overdischarge?Trickle charge, etc., which is not described in Datasheet?

2.The battery can't be charged after the machine has been put down for a long time.Does it have anything to do with software?

    I need some more information. 

    Do you have a schematic you can share?

    1. What do you mean, "after overdischarge"? The charger must be programmed with the correct charge current to match your required Trickle, Pre-charge, and Fast charge current limits. Because the BQ25700A is a charging controller, is it on the host to program the charger with the appropriate charging parameters.

    2. I am not sure what you software is doing. Can you communicate with the charger? What are your test conditions? What is your software programming to the charger? Please provide the register data from the charger before and after it does not charge.
