Other Parts Discussed in Thread: EV2400
Hi, i have connected my EV2400 with bq27742. I would like to calibrate gauge and program chem id but it seems that i cannot get out of the sealed mode.

Looks like you have a bad chip. Cell voltage is reading 0. Cell temp is reading -39.1C
You likely need to replace the IC.
thanks

Hi,
Please check Your cell. In previous picture its voltage was 1.905V, which is extremely low for Li-Ion. Its actually dead cell. Your recent screenshot contains 0V measurement. The -39.1Deg.C temperature value may be because of the extremely wrong cell voltage. If You would replace cell so its voltage will be in a reasonable range (2.7-4.2V), You must check that the voltage is above the value mentioned in "Data Memory->Configuration->Power->Flash Update OK Voltage". What I have learned that there will be no flash updates (including chem id programming) if the cell dropped below that value.
Best Regards,
Boris.
Hi,
I think that problem is with IC, because I have checked cells and there is nothing wrong. It might be invalid soldering process or broken IC, I will check it out.
Thanks for response!
