BQ24038: Battery Temperature Monitoring

Dear  all

        For the datasheet, it said V(LTF) and V(HTF) thresholds (0.5 V and 2.5 V)

       1. Could you share me that the relationship between temperature with voltage on the TS pin ? Like 30℃ corresponding to how much voltage value ?

            

          2. Below picture, how to set the RT1 and RT2 value ?

    Hello Went,

    The relationship between the voltage on the TS pin and the temperature depends on the thermistor selected. For the BQ24038, we recommend using the 103AT thermistor. At 30C for example, the 103AT will 8.313k ohms Since the TS pin sources 100uA of current, the voltage on the TS pin will be 831mV which is within the stated threshold of 0.5V and 2.1V so charging will occur. If you know your required threshold, you can use the current source, threshold voltage and thermistor value to calculate the RT! and RT2 values.
