BQ24195: Will BQ24195 halt and what should we do after this？

    Now I use BQ24195 as Charge IC of my project.

    1.Will BQ24195 halt? 

    2.If BQ24195 halts，what should we do to reset BQ24195 without shutdown the battery?

    Hello,

    Could you explain what you mean by halt? Are you referring to charge current termination? If so, charge current will terminate autonomously according to section 8.3.3.1 of the datasheet.

    Hi,

    Upon initial start up the bq24195 runs an input source qualification where VBUS must be less than 18V and greater than 3.8V when drawing 30 mA. This routine occurs autonomously upon startup and will ensure a good source is connected before operating the buck converter. The input qualification routine will repeat every 2 seconds if a good source is not found.

    During buck converter operation, the device will use the DPM functionality to prevent overloading the adapter. If the DPM is unable to prevent this from happening, then the buck converter will cease operating and the input source must be qualified again to resume operation.

    Input source qualification is described in detail in section 8.3.1.3.2 of the datasheet and DPM is described in section 8.3.2.2.
