Hello,
We would like to use a part like the TPS25200 for current limiting on USB2.0 ports. However, to be within USB spec, the current must be limited to 100mA for the first 100ms, after which we would like to raise the current limit to ~500mA.
Two problems with the TPS25200: 1) The lowest current limit setting could be as high as 130mA, and 2) the only way to have two current limits is to switch in a second ILIM resistor in parallel with an initial ILIM resistor.
Do we have a part better suited to accomplish this task?
