TPS62751: TPS62751 lifetime when continuously running / typical Iq

Part Number: TPS62751

Hi,

In one of our existing designs we are using your TPS62751 Stepdown converter and I would have some question to that….

Currently the Application uses the enable pin of TPS62751 to switch it on only when required.

Now we might need to have TPS62751 continuously running and we would need to get some information from you

how this could potentially influence lifetime of component.

TPS62751 would be switched on permanently but with almost 0mA Output current during 95% of operating time.

I see that Iq (Operating Quiescent Current) of TPS62751 is rather high (max. 30mA according specification)

Is this a real Iq?  When will this high Iq occour?

Are you able to provide any typical IQ for TPS62751? Thanls.

Best regards, Alen
