Battery Analyzer for Electric Vehicles

Dear Sir/Madam,

We want to design a Battery Analyzer for Electric Vehicles such as Plugin Hybrid car(PHEV), EV passenger car,Heavy delivery van.The battery voltage can be the range of 9 VDC to 800 VDC. Please suggest us a appropriate part or design which can measure the following parameters:

1. Voltage,Current,Temperature

2. State of Charge(SOC)

3. State of Health(SOH)

4. State of Power(SOP)

5. State of Safety(SOF)

Hi Ashok,

As I mentioned to Manoj in the other thread:

If the individual battery cell exceeds the 5V channel limit as for the bq79606A, then I'm afraid we do not currently offer any solutions to monitor this system. If you are interested in exploring other alternatives then please let us know if we can help.

As per the above reply the IC i.e.,bq79606A is for one cell?

Hi Ashok,

No please check the datasheet. Each bq79606A device can support up to 6 cells but each cell is limited at 5V limit. These devices can also be stacked up to 64 devices to support high cell count applications.
