LM5008: BST pin is shorted with SW pin

Dear all

       If the BST pin is shorted with SW pin, what happens to the LM5008 device ? It will be burned ? Or only not output voltage ?

    Hi Went:

    it will not be burned if BST PIN Shorted to SW at outside of chip before Vin added. there will be a small leakage current from BST to SW to output,  if in no load condtion, there will be a votlage at output, if the load current is high, there will be nearly no output votlage.
